This course will cover the ISO 50001:2018 standard and the requirements for establishing and improving an energy management system in organisations. Participants will gain knowledge on the process of setting up and implementing an energy management system, as well as monitoring and improving it.

The aim of the course is to train participants as internal auditors to be able to audit an energy management system and assess its compliance with ISO 50001:2018. The course will cover topics such as planning, documenting and executing the establishment of an energy management system, process and risk management, as well as technical aspects of auditing.

Participants will gain the skills and knowledge needed to become effective internal auditors and help organisations implement and maintain effective energy management systems that can reduce energy consumption and savings, and improve the environmental sustainability of the business.
